Making My Own Bacon at Home

So I mentioned yesterday that Oda Mae and I went to pick up 1000 CD's. That is actually part of my new Stay-At-Home-Dad-Job. Yep, I'm working from home now for a small record and publishing company. It's actually a pretty sweet deal. I get to work from home on my own time whenever I want and I get to make a little extra money while I'm taking care of Oda Mae.

Basically, I ship CD's/Sheet Music/Rare Music Books and that sort of thing. An order comes in from the internet or from some another source and I get it ready and ship it. I also keep track of our artists concert schedule and make sure that they have recordings available for sale at all of their US concert sites.

I've been doing this now since the middle of January. the first couple of months were pretty light. Now that we are promoting new artists and more recordings, things are beginning to pick up.

I'm really enjoying the new responsibility. It gives me another window into the "real" world. Not that I mind being in Little People world everyday, but it's nice to get a break once in a while.

So now I'm curious. Here is a little poll for all of my readers.

I have a sweet deal. Can work from my home office (every Wednesday) and then the office/office the rest of the week ... that is if I'm not sitting at some airport. Been doing that a bunch lately. - AK

ps - like the look of your new site.

I am a well-kept woman and have been for a number of years. Seriously,I was a stay-at-home Mom when it wasn't fashionable. I've had a number of small "jobs" through the years and when the last fledgling was leaving began volunteering. Not a bad life!
